NeuroPept Labs supplies reference compounds for in vitro laboratory research only. The answers below cover ordering, quality documentation, handling and returns. If your question is not here, email sales@neuropeptlabs.com.

Products and quality

What does “research use only” mean for NeuroPept Labs products?

Every product on this site is supplied strictly for research and development use. The compounds are not drugs, foods, cosmetics or medical devices, and they are not for human or veterinary consumption of any kind. NeuroPept Labs is a chemical supplier, not a compounding pharmacy or an outsourcing facility as defined under Section 503A or 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Statements on this site have not been evaluated by the US Food and Drug Administration and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. The full text is on our Research Use Only policy.

Are NeuroPept Labs peptides made in the USA?

Yes. All NeuroPept Labs research peptides are manufactured in the USA and HPLC-tested before dispatch. The company operates from 400 N Tampa St STE 1550, Tampa, Florida 33602-4719.

What purity are your research peptides, and how is it measured?

Purity is measured by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), which separates the target peptide from synthesis-related impurities and reports the target as a percentage of the total peak area. Identity is confirmed separately by mass spectrometry. The exact purity figure for the batch you receive is stated on that batch’s Certificate of Analysis rather than being a single fixed number across the catalogue.

Do your products come with a Certificate of Analysis?

Products are supplied with third-party Certificate of Analysis (COA) documentation covering identity and purity for your research records. COAs are issued by an independent analytical laboratory, Freedom Diagnostics, and can be cross-checked at freedomdiagnosticstesting.com.

How do I read a Certificate of Analysis?

A usable COA names the compound and batch, states the analytical method used, reports HPLC purity as a percentage, and shows a mass spectrometry result matching the expected molecular weight. It should be traceable to a named laboratory rather than being an unattributed image. Our guide on how to read a peptide COA and verify authenticity walks through each section and the red flags to watch for.

Handling and storage

How should research peptides be stored when they arrive?

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored at -20°C or below, away from moisture and light. Keep vials sealed until use and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, which degrade peptide integrity. Our peptide storage guide covers lyophilized and reconstituted storage in more detail.

What do I use to reconstitute a lyophilized peptide?

Sterile bacteriostatic water is the usual diluent for in vitro laboratory preparation, because the benzyl alcohol it contains allows a multi-use vial to remain stable for longer than sterile water would. The choice affects working stability and study design, which is covered in our guide on how to reconstitute research peptides.

Why do peptides ship as a powder rather than a solution?

Lyophilization removes water from the peptide, which makes it far more stable in transit and in storage than a ready-made solution would be. The resulting cake is reconstituted in the lab immediately before use. See lyophilization explained.

Ordering and shipping

Who is allowed to order from NeuroPept Labs?

Ordering is restricted to buyers who are 21 years of age or older and who confirm that the material will be used for laboratory research only, not for human or veterinary use. You will be asked to confirm both before viewing or purchasing products.

How much is shipping, and where do orders ship from?

Orders ship from the USA with tracked, discreet delivery. Shipping is free on orders over $200.

Why does checkout move to a different web address?

Checkout is handled on checkout.neuropeptlabs.com, a dedicated secure checkout for NeuroPept Labs orders. Your payment and address details are entered there rather than on the storefront. The domain is ours, so seeing the address change at checkout is expected.

Returns and problems with an order

Can I return a research peptide?

Because of the nature of the products, all sales are final and products are not eligible for return once shipped unless they are defective or incorrect. Returns and refunds are not accepted for a change of mind, for improper handling or storage after delivery, or for opened products. The full terms are on our Returns & Exchanges policy.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at sales@neuropeptlabs.com and include your order number and clear photographs of the issue. If the claim is approved we will replace the product, or issue a refund or store credit.
